Is a Blue/Cream Mackerel Tabby cat rare?

I’ve recently adopted a Blue & Cream Mackerel tabby kitten from my local shelter, and was told that this color coat was considered “rare”.
Is this true?

No,it isn’t rare. I have had two in the past and have one right now. Blue mackerel tabbies are pretty common ( with cream – colored bellies and cream through their stripes).

when you make your own soft plastics can you use regular scents, and how do you salt inpregnate a lure do you just put salt in with the soft plastic when you melt it. can you also use any kind of glitter.

yeah you put salt into your melted concoction., it would be best to add it right before you pour your mix…I’ve done this before actually you can add glitter to the mix as well but try to keep it even. I’m guessing you have the right molding equiptment. I don’t think that glitter and salt melt well so you should be on your way. think about a hot pretzel you heat it up in an oven and the salt stays solid. same with glitter. you can also add the prefered scent directly to the mix (cod liver oil, bass spray, blood w/e) best of luck to you and your plastic bait making!

1. Spinnerbait’s
2.Plastic Worms
3. Jig’s
4. Rapala-type floating/diving minnow’s(hard plastic’s)

These are your “basic” 4 lures.

It’s important to have “some” of these basic 4 when seriously fishing for Bass, Snakes, ‘Eye’s, Etc.

Everyone has their fav. My fav may not work where you are. But, here is a list of what you will usually find in my tackle box:

1. Various types/styles of Berkley “Gulp” & “Power Worm” product’s (curly-tailed grubs, worms, trailer’s, Etc.)

2. Various Rapala/Yozuri/Cotton Cordell/Rebel hard plastic lures.

3. Various spinnerbait’s & In-line spinner’s: Titanium T1, “Jig-spinner’s”, Strike King “Midnight Special’s”,”Mini-King’s”, Etc.

4. Many, many variety’s of Jig’s in different weight’s.

5. Topwater lures.

If I had to pick 1 item that I COULDN’T go fishing without, it would be the Berkley product’s. “Gulp” product’s are so “real” you can use them as dead “bait” if you had too! And I don’t think I could live without my Jig’s & “Jig-spinner’s”.
