Do they still make the real craw or craw hide fishing lure?

It had a lead head jig with a sponge on it for attractant covered with a canvas type material cut and colored like a crawfish. Worked great on bass. I haven’t seen them for about 15 years and I would like some more. HELP!!

OK, I know the lure you are talking about. I think that they went out of production, but you may be able to find a few on eBay if you look hard enough. If I come across any I’ll post them.

There is an alternative however. Salmo and a few other manufacturers are making “real scale” fishing lures. These are crankbaits that are covered in real fish skin. They have scales and a flash just like a real prey species. Don’t be fooled however as some companies are covering their lures with squid skin which does not have scales.
